An Intimate Retreat for Creatives & Entrepreneurs
A few intentional days with remarkable people. The right environment. The right energy. The kind of retreat that can change the direction of your life and your business.
Apply for a SpotThis is not a workshop.
It's a space to breathe, connect, and unlock what's actually possible.
A few days away from the noise. A chance to slow down. To breathe. To think clearly again. To be around people who actually get it — who understand the grind, the loneliness, and the ambition behind what you're building.
I stopped playing it safe the day I started surrounding myself with people who are already taking massively bigger risks than I was.
Ben Adams
I've been a photographer for most of my adult life. Then COVID hit, and like a lot of you, I felt the floor drop out. Money got tight. The future felt uncertain. And I realized something that scared me: everything I had was tied to one thing.
So I started building. Over the last six years, I've launched over five businesses, some in the photography space, others not. I've taken real risks, made real mistakes, and figured out how to create income and opportunity that doesn't depend on me picking up a camera. Today, my photography business still brings in over six figures a year. I work about five hours a week on it. The rest of my time goes into things I'm building for the long term.
But here's what I noticed along the way. The businesses didn't happen because I was the smartest person in the room. They happened because of the people I was around. I got comfortable asking for things. I learned to leverage the skills I already had in ways I never expected. And I stayed close to people who were doing more than I was.
That's the question I couldn't stop asking. What happens when the creative work gets exhausting? When your body gets tired? When you want more time with your family? When you love what you do but know you can't do it forever the way you're doing it now?
That question pushed me to build, and to connect with people who were asking the same things. None of it happened alone.
And through all of it, one thing became undeniably clear.
Almost every meaningful thing that's happened in my life came from relationships. Every business I've built happened because of people. Because of conversations. Because of trust. Because somebody introduced me to somebody. Because I stayed connected to good people. None of this happened alone.
The creative world has become noisy. Everyone's selling something. Everyone's performing. Everyone's an expert. And somewhere along the way, a lot of people lost the reason they started — and the confidence to keep going.
This retreat is NOT
This retreat IS
And to be clear: this is not going to be me standing up front talking the whole time. The bulk of this experience is community. It's conversations between attendees. It's hearing from other people in the room who are on the same journey. The most valuable thing here isn't me. It's everyone in it together.
The environment you're in shapes everything. Your mindset. Your confidence. How open you are. We stay somewhere that makes you feel like you've already won just by being there. The kind of space you're not used to. The moment you walk in, you feel it. And that feeling sets the tone for everything that happens next.
I've spent years building relationships with remarkable humans. Now I'm getting all of you in the same room.
This is not about consuming information. This is about being in the right environment with the right people. When you leave, you won't just have notes.
This is the first retreat I've ever hosted, and I wanted to do it right. That means incredible people, an incredible house, and a price that reflects where this is starting — not where it's going. This will never be this affordable again.
Payment plans are available. Reach out and we'll make it work. Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable. If something comes up, I'll personally help you find someone to take your spot. I expect this to fill up fast, seats are strictly capped at 15.
This is an application process. Not everyone gets in.
I review every application personally. I want the right people in this room, and I take that seriously. If it's a good fit, we'll have a quick conversation and go from there. If it's not, I'll be honest with you about that too.
Submit Your ApplicationWho is this actually for?
Photographers, creatives, and entrepreneurs craving real community, honest conversations, and meaningful connection. You don't need to be at a specific revenue level. You just need to be genuinely hungry for depth over surface — and willing to show up as yourself.
Is this a photography education event?
No. Photography will probably come up because most of us have it in common, and yes, I'll share tips and things I've learned along the way. But this is not a photography workshop. There are no styled shoots, no structured presentations, no me standing up front lecturing the whole time. The value is in the people and the environment.
How many people will be there?
10–15 people maximum. The intimacy is the entire point. When the room gets bigger, the depth gets smaller. This stays small. Always.
What's included?
Chef-prepared meals (lunch and dinner daily), the retreat space, and the full experience for the entire duration. You'll handle your own flights to get here — everything else is taken care of. Full logistics are shared after your seat is confirmed.
Why is pricing lower for this first retreat?
Because the right room matters more than the margin. The founding group gets the early energy and the early price. Future retreats will be priced significantly higher as this experience becomes established.
Will Ben be teaching and presenting the whole time?
No. I'll be present, engaged, and fully in the mix. I'm not at a whiteboard. I'm having dinner with you, sitting by the pool, and talking late into the night. The experience is collaborative, not instructional.
How do I know if this is right for me?
Book a call with me. Seriously. I want to make sure this is the right fit for you before you commit, and I'm happy to have that conversation. If it makes sense, great. If it doesn't, I'll tell you that too.
This isn't first come, first served. Every application is reviewed personally. If it's the right fit, we'll talk.
